Once again, we have a release of Epstein Files in a format that’s not conducive for browsing.
House oversight released thousands of text documents in JPEG format, making them difficult to search. For that, I bundled the files into PDF’s, performed OCR on them to make them somewhat searchable, and shared with anyone interested in doing their own investigation.
This time, the Department of Justice has released thousands of pages in PDF format (8,904 files in 29.77GB) which aren’t helpful when we’re scanning through to find photos of his associates.
For this, I’ve created a new torrent, which contains the following sets of documents from the Department of Justice:
- Court Records
- Files released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R.4405)
- Files released under the Freedom of Information Act
What’s you get with the torrent:
- Every page of each PDF converted to JPEG.
- Every non-JPEG included in original format
This time, I’ve converted each page of each PDF into a JPEG file, making it easy to browse through directories and view thumbnails.
Version 1
The first version, just JPG’s but no MP4’s and no WAVS is 35,437 files that come in at 16.12GB.
Version 2
Second version is a bit more hefty: 36,724 individual files coming in at a total of 36.45GB, because it includes the video and audio files.
The size is especially big because of all the included MP4 and WAV files. I’ll make another version that doesn’t include those files later for make for more manageable downloads for all us amateur sleuths soon.
