As the popularity of Zohran Mamdani’s has surged in New York City’s Mayoral Race, Republicans have wasted no opportunity to display how much sheer hatred they have for him and the policies he’s proposed. Though he became a naturalized citizen in 2018, calls for his deportation continue to grow from the Republican side of the aisle.

Perhaps the most damning comments of all came from Florida Representative Randy Fine is, — who, despite his name, is not from “fine” by any definition. You see, Randy has openly called for starvation of the population of Gaza as part of Israel’s battle against Hamas without losing the support of the Republican Party, of AIPAC or of his voters.

Less seriously, has also bee found to have Fine violated Florida election law by accepting illegal campaign contributions. Had Mamdani had been found to have done the same, there is little doubt that Fine demand that the Justice Department to throw the book at him.
I just think we need to take a hard look at how these folks became citizens, and if there is any fraud or any violation of the rules we need to denaturalize and deport
Randy Fine as quoted by The New York Post
Last week, Fine took his hatred for the ideals our country was founded on a step further, by calling not only for the removal of Mamdani but for a review of every naturalized citizen, with an eye toward withdrawing their citizenship and deporting them if they fail whatever litmus test he chooses.
Today (October 26, 2025), news reports show that he has once again put his hatred of representative democracy on full display by proposing a bill that would ban members of Congress from holding dual citizenship.
In case anyone forgot, Texas’ acclaimed Senator Rafeal Edward “Ted” Cruz possessed dual citizenship when he was elected, giving up his Canadian citizenship only after entering the US Senate.
Among other things, Cruz is known for:
- endorsing Donald Trump after Trump called Teds wife ugly
- endorsing Donald Trump after Trump accused Teds father of being involved in JFK’s assassination
- fled to Cancún, Mexico for a tropical vacation when millions of Texans were freezing and without power due to a freak storm that paralyzed its electricity grid.
The Republican Party tore off its mask a long time ago. But every week — no, every day — their face is revealed to be more hideous than the day before. From Mitch McConnell to Ted Cruz to Donald Trump to Randy Fine and everyone in between, this is a party that is shameless in its self-interest, its hatred, and its contempt for the very people it claims to represent.
